1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website forensicexpertsassociation.in("Website") or applying for membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws of India. If you do not agree, you may not use this Website or apply for membership.
2. Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to:
- Student: Individuals currently enrolled in a recognized forensic science or related degree programme.
- Professional: Individuals with relevant professional experience or academic qualification in forensic science, criminology, law, medicine, or allied disciplines.
- Institutional: Universities, research institutions, government laboratories, law enforcement agencies, and forensic consultancies.
The Association reserves the right to verify eligibility and reject applications that do not meet the criteria, without assigning reasons.
3. Membership Obligations
Members agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
- Uphold the professional and ethical standards of the Association.
- Not misrepresent their membership status, tier, or credentials.
- Not use the Association's name or logo without written permission.
- Renew membership in a timely manner to maintain active status.
4. Payments
All membership fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are processed securely through Cashfree Payment Gateway. By proceeding with payment, you authorise the Association to charge the stated membership fee. Fees are inclusive of all applicable taxes.
5. Digital Membership Card
The digital membership card and certificate issued by the Association is the property of the Association and is granted for personal, non-commercial use by the member. Members must not alter, reproduce, or transfer the membership card.
6. Termination of Membership
The Association may suspend or terminate membership for violation of these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or conduct deemed detrimental to the reputation of forensic science in India. No refund is payable in cases of termination for cause.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website — including text, graphics, logos, digital certificates, and publications — is the property of the Forensic Experts Association and protected by applicable Indian intellectual property laws. Reproduction without written consent is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Association is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Website or membership services. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the membership fee paid by you in the relevant subscription year.
9. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi. The Association endeavours to resolve disputes amicably in the first instance.
10. Amendments
The Association reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website or membership after amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
